Third grade teacher Kiwana Ledbetter has been selected as the 2022-2023 Hawthorne Teacher of the Year!
Kiwana has been teaching at Hawthorne for four years.
"My favorite part of being an educator is the ability given to me to get students excited about learning," said Kiwana. "I also enjoy the opportunity to teach my students life lessons that I know will stay with them."
